How the group came together
Digicast Holdings brings together a group of Ghanaian companies built over more than two decades, working across construction, infrastructure, workplace fit-out and media.
The group began in media. Nitrak Company Ltd, a media buying company, was founded in 2001 and ran until 2006, winning recognition from the Advertising Association of Ghana as emerging agency in 2004 and for volume of adverts in 2005. When the focus of the business changed, Digicast Company Ltd was formed, and the group has grown from there into construction, civil engineering, furniture solutions and outdoor advertising.
What holding it together buys a client
One bench, several companies
Senior staff serve across the group. The same project finance, quantity surveying and project management expertise is available to a roads contract, a building contract and a fit-out, which is why group companies can deliver jointly on a single site.
Owned plant and directly employed trades
Digicast Properties maintains its own plant, from excavators and graders to concrete and compaction equipment, and the group directly employs close to a hundred skilled and semi-skilled tradesmen across its companies.
Public and corporate track record
The group has delivered for ministries, municipal assemblies and the Ghana Armed Forces, and for banks, oil and gas operators and professional services firms, including CAL Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tullow and the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority.

Health and safety
The group's construction company operates a written health and safety policy on every site.
Digicast Properties believes that no job or task is more important than a person's health and safety. If a task presents a potential safety or health threat, every effort is made to devise safe ways to perform it. Non-compliance with safety procedures by any worker is not tolerated.
The site supervisor is responsible for health and safety at each site, and the project manager personally oversees implementation. Every worker is taken through health and safety training before works commence, so that each worker is responsible as well.
