Cookie policy

This website does not use cookies. That is the whole policy, but here is the detail.

We do not use cookies

This site sets no cookies at all. It also stores nothing in your browser's local storage, session storage or IndexedDB. You can browse every page, including the enquiry form, without anything being written to your device.

That is why you have not seen a cookie banner. A banner asking you to accept cookies we do not set would be misleading, so we have not put one there.

We do not track you

There is no analytics on this site. Specifically, we do not use:

  • Google Analytics, or any other analytics or statistics package
  • Google Tag Manager or any other tag manager
  • Advertising or conversion pixels of any kind
  • Session recording, heatmaps or scroll tracking
  • Social media share widgets or embedded feeds
  • Embedded maps, video players or comment systems

Nothing is loaded from third party servers

Every file this site loads comes from our own domain. In particular, our typefaces are built into the site rather than requested from Google Fonts, so your browser never contacts Google, and Google never sees your IP address because you visited us. The same goes for images: they are ours and served from our own domain.

What happens when you use the enquiry form

The form does not rely on a cookie. It carries a short-lived signed token in the page itself, which lets our server confirm the form was genuinely served by us and was not submitted instantly by a script. The token holds no information about you, and nothing is stored in your browser.

Our server does briefly hold a value derived from your IP address to limit how many enquiries can be sent in an hour. That is described in the privacy policy.

What your browser does on its own

Your browser may cache pages and images so the site loads faster on your next visit. That is ordinary browser behaviour rather than something we set, it holds no personal data, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

If this ever changes

If we later add something that stores data in your browser, such as analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before it loads. Anything non-essential would stay switched off until you agree, and you would be able to change your mind. Until then, there is nothing here for you to accept or decline.
